May we introduce ourselves to you. We are Kim and Jeremy Paterson who are both Scots and have lived in New Zealand for over 30 years. We have two grown up children and became first time grandparents in May 2008. Jeremy has a degree in pure chemistry and has put this to good use by becoming a distiller and yeast maker. After many years of thinking about setting up a bed and breakfast, the time is now right and he is making use of his skills by distilling, brewing and baking for our guests. Kim is very much involved in projects with the local community. We are both interested in antiques, art, music and love looking after our Alpacas (we have 7 currently), our sheep, chickens, 1 dog and 2 cats. One certainly needs a sense of humour to deal with this lot! We look forward to meeting people from all walks of life, and have enjoyed some most interesting discussions with our guests.
